Military Officials Worried They Can’t Use COVID as an Excuse Much Longer

Senior officers and NCO’s across the military were seen scrambling back to their offices, realizing that they may actually have to do their jobs after two years of COVID.

This problem seemed to reach the highest echelons of command. At the Pentagon, when questioned for comment, a spokesman said, “The Defense Department was simply not expecting to have to come back to work so soon. I mean we knew government officials were going to stop hyping up the pandemic in time for the midterms, but we had no idea that meant actually showing up to the office.”

One of the biggest questions will be what to do with the servicemen who refused the vaccine, after two years of threatening to seperate them. You can’t keep people on administrative hold forever, right? Right?

No word yet on where the civilians at your command went, when they’re coming back, and what their job was in the first place anyway.
