No One Noticed You Were Even Gone After Your Holiday Leave Ends

“Wait, you didn’t transfer?” Your department head asks you when you came back to work from holiday leave. Incredible. Two years of getting berated every time you were thirty seconds late to literally anything, and your command didn’t even think you were coming back from holiday leave.

To think of it, the office was actually really productive over the last three weeks. The unnecessary clutter of excess mouth breathers wasn’t around, and everything was relatively peaceful.

Oh god, here comes that guy. He thinks he’s so important to the command. Biggest mouth in every room he walks into with absolutely zero production value. Oh wait, that’s you. Now get back to work, you’re late for a meeting you’re going to contribute nothing at.

At press time, the meeting was moved to a different location and no one bothered to tell you. You’ll still get yelled at for missing it though.
